Deck Builder Tool
I'm trying to build a deck for a custom game but the cards are getting pretty bad resolution because I cant export images above ~4000x5000 pixels (70 cards together), it says java run out of memory.
Anyone have a better way to deal with this and get nice and clean cards?

They recommend not going above that size... but you don't need to use the deck builder.
Simply use an image editor to make the card sheet such as gimp (gimp.org) then export at the quality you want.

Actually I'm pretty newbie to this so I dont really know how to use that kind of program, maybe I can learn it later and try it. Anyway thx for the reply.

The max size for a deck is 4096 x 4096 pixels. That said - the deck does not have to contain 70 cards. When you import the deck you can set it to be 4 cards by 3 cards instead of the default 10 x 7. Doing this drastically increases the resolution per card that you are able to have. You just have to create the deck image in Photoshop or Gimp as the deck builder tool does not have support for that feature yet.

Unleash, you can start the card editing tool using more memory from the command line. In Windows, this can be done by navigating to the directory using the command line and then running:

java -Xmx 1G -jar card-editor.jar

I hope this helps you.

@jocolloman I cant really understand it unless its ELI5 its my fault sorry D:

Well I did a few tests with GIMP and it went pretty well cards are much better now but its more time consuming. I think there is a much faster way than putting by hand all the cards on the right position one by one but its working... well its not that many cards so its a short term solution thank you for the tips guys :)

Yeah that can be annoying for pre-made cards. I don't use gimp often as my old copy of Fireworks works great, though it should be doable with the Distribute option within Align; https://docs.gimp.org/en/gimp-tool-align.html

Use this Deck Editor as it makes use of the Width/Height features: http://www.berserk-games.com/forums/showthread.php?1384-TTS-Deck-Editor
