Static Joints
Joints have pretty much revolutionized my gaming experience here. I love them. But I'm still kind of a noob at utilizing their potential. I have been looking online for a tutorial but haven't found one yet.

If there is not a way currently, Would it be possible to point two items together and make the connection static? Right now, two objects get linked together and when one of them gets moved, the second object starts flopping around like crazy and then doesn't settle back quite in the same spot. How can I connect the two objects and also make it so they move together without all the crazy flopping around? Is there a way to make it static? Almost as if it was one solid model.

That's what a joint should do, by default, in my experience. If the objects are touching each other, at least, they don't go flying around. If one of them is a die, then it will rotate randomly when you throw it, thus flinging the other object around.

Well as of now, I have 2 custom models, one being a character and one being a sword. I try to connect them by putting the sword into the character's hand, but as soon as the model is unlocked, the sword falls a little bit and then as the models are moved, the sword begins to fly around.
