How do you copy your own save game?

I'm making a D&D map and I'm editing it, and I"m going to want to copy it so I can have one verson I play and another I work on.

Unless im misunderstanding u just save it again under a different name like ____copy etc or for just a single object rename it and save it to the chest

ya I was trying to make it a little easier organizing by copying it and putting it into a folder on my desktop, but I might just have to do what you say.

Are u just doing a single object or a whole save because u can do that but its a giant pain for a whole save and a minor pain for a single object

whole save, and like 34 for of them, first D&D map, so going intense

u can save it go to Documents\My Games\Tabletop Simulator\Saves find it then drop it into a named folder wherever u want and then just move it back when u want to use it.You cant just rename it though it only goes by number so
TS_Save_12.json to TS_Save_1200.json would work but
TS_Save_12.json to TS_Save_DnDmap12.json wouldnt show up on the load screen
If i was u i would just do it the normal way and go and make backups occasionally in case i saved over them probably the easiest way

Your local saves are stored in the \Documents\My Games\Tabletop Simulator\Saves\ folder. The files are named TS_Save_x.json. (Where x is its position in the TTS's save list.) If you need to find a save file in an inconvenient location (i.e. in the middle of a very long save list), then you can open the file SaveFileInfos.json in a text editor to see the files' descriptions and corresponding numbers.
