I'll try that and get back to you. thanks for the advise
it loaded then i moved around a bit then it crashed. I tried the xwing boardgame, battlestar galactica and some random mod that added random objects on the table like a bag of chips, cans of coke , some mountain dew and a picture of hulk hogan etc.
most of the mods i tried also showed this popup http://i.imgur.com/2MDavFZ.png I don't know if thats related
PS- I tried loading cards against humanity and Uno and those seemed to work fine. I forgot to mention but i also jumped in a server with a friend(he hosted) ealier and he loaded up DND and other tabletops and i didnt have any crashes or issues when we were just effin around for a good hour
From the sound of it, it sounds like you are running into memory related issues. Loading a large number of models or cards can cause the program's RAM usage to increase a great deal. Once the program passes a certain memory usage (around 3 GB depending upon your setup), it's not uncommon for it to crash. If there's just a particular mod that causes crashing on loading, the next thing to try changing is to uncheck "Full Size Textures". (From the Configuration menu, you can find it on the Graphics tab.)
I still have no clue how it forces your computer to restart ... that should never happen.
I already tried that "uncheck "Full Size Textures" " and it was still crashing.
Also, a bit of an update(could be related could be not). I recently joined a public multiplayer lobby that had 3 other people working on a jigsaw puzzle. I joined and played with them for about an hour with no issues then suddenly crashed/restarted. Could be a memory leak or something, idk how to fix it though. I'm not very tech savy. Maybe i could provide some crashlogs to the developer? I don't know how to go about that but would be willing to figure it out if they want it.
yea, i hope one of them sees this , I really really like this game. I appreciate your help regardless. Thank you
