Solo Mahjong
Can I play this game solo/offline (against bot perhaps?) or do I need to play online with some friends (or strangers)? I'm interested this game just because I see there's Mahjong in it, and that's the one I want.

Also, is this the Classic Chinese/Hongkong Mahjong or Riichi Mahjong?

It's a complete physics sandbox; no bots and no enforced rules. If you play a specific structured style of Mahjong, it will be irrelevant here, since every player has mostly-full control over the pieces and movement. I'm not familiar with the different Mahjong styles, so I'm not sure. My guess would be the classic Mahjong. The standard Mahjong set-up appears to be the Japanese Riichi set-up, but the Workshop has both styles available as mods.

If you can play it alone in real life, you can play it alone on Tabletop Simulator. Otherwise, you will need to invite some people to play with you (friends or strangers).

Actually no, Mahjong can't be played alone in real life (unless maybe you just practicing). The only reason I asked for solo play is because not many people know how to play Mahjong games. So that's why I thought maybe I can play alone against bot or something.

Thanks for your answer, guess I need to start asking my friend to start learning some Mahjong :D

If you wanna play Mahjong sometime, add me, I just got the game for pretty much the same reason...

Add me as well if you ever want to play Mahjong. It probably wouldn't be that hard to start up a mahjong club. Check out some of the Mahjong mods as well, there are some really nice looking tiles and riichi sticks and stuff in the workshop.
