Honest question. Was TTS hacked or something?

not a one time thing, I was hosting a game with some people I have regularly played with (was Villainous both times) and then all of a sudden people started getting promoted and demoted without my acting, then the Permissions I enabled all got randomly changed around, colours were shuffled and players were getting kicked without any input from me at all.

More so, when I start talking about closing the lobby an announcement then pops up saying that closing the lobby will 'glitch' my laptop. Obvious bluffing aside it is really annoying that I can't properly enjoy some games with other people cause of this.

Thankfully not a constant thing, it is a worrying event in terms of the security for TTS since it is a fantastic bed of board games. I wanted to figure out if anyone else was having this issue or can help explain to me how it all is happening.
(No I doubt it is some kind of virus on my laptop, I rarely ever browse anything but Youtube and anything else I am browsing are sites I have visited regularly over the course of years, I also don't download things randomly)

If this only ever happens to you, it might be that you got a virus. I have never heard of something like this before and it didn't happen to me either. The creepy thing is that according to what you write here, it sounds like someone is actively watching you, as they are reacting to what you say and do.

Best case scenario, someone is pulling a prank on you. Worst case, a creep is trying to terrorise you.

Sounds like someone was trolling you with lua scripts, which is for the most part harmless. Be mindful of what mods and objects you load in, and who you promote.

I do use the voice chat in TTS so if they could hear or see what was happening in the lobby then it makes sense that they could respond to what I'm saying.

They were more than likely in your lobby. All of what you described can be done with the in game lua scripts and is probably caused by you allowing users to spawn in objects with these lua scripts on them, or using workshop mods with them.
