Is it safe to remove the content in Images Raw and the Models Raw folders?

Ive heard the RAW files are unnecessary but i just want to make sure that they are safe to delete

I guess it depends what you mean by safe. The .raw files are connected to the mod caching option, and they make loading mods much faster. I believe they also allow you to load a mod locally. If assets in a mod you love are missing, the workshop won't help you, the .json file will point to a URL that equals the name of the raw file.

... That is, I think that's how it works. I haven't been able to find a perfect answer, but if you really care about your cached assets, back up everything before you delete them. It will just force TTS to download them again when you load up a mod.
