Installing an Obj file
I've downloaded quite a few Obj files and was wondering if there is a guide on how to get these into TTS to be able to use them.

Thanks

you have to host them somewhere

is this something akin to pastebin?

I thought I read (not sure where) that you put your obj file into pastebin and then from there you link it to TTS

Yes you can use pastebin to host your obj files (they are just plain text files) or you can host them anywhere else that allows you to or your own web server if you have one.

Then you just use the URL to that file.

Can Dropbox be used to host obj files?

Pastebin is temporary unless you pay for a premium account, if I remember correctly.

Pastebin isn't temporary. On the bottom of the page, it asks you when you want your paste deleted, and you simply choose "never"

Oh, I wasn't aware of that. Thank you Fastattaq

Yes, you can use Dropbox for the .obj files. I've messed around with it a bit myself, and it works perfectly.
Drop your obj files into a public folder, then copy the public link for the file and paste it into the custom model box on TTS. Do the same with the texture, public folder, copy public link, paste it into the Diffuse box.
