4 characters with 2 players?
Hey folks, my buddy and I would like to play two chars each, but not finding a great way of doing this besides swapping colors every time we want to swap chars. The solo mode is pretty great, but it doesn't look like you can assign more than one char to black. We tried using teams, but since the other two slots aren't "taken" they don't show their cards, we can just see each others. Does anyone have a better idea/workaround?

I apologize for the ambiguity, thought I was on Gloomhaven Fantasy setup page! Question still stands though, if you are playing any game and want two players to have two colors each, is there any way to easily/quickly do this? We'd be up for hotkeys, scripting, etc, as long as it's clean.

I run into the same issue while trying to play more group games with family online. Would be really nice to have an easy way to have multiple characters from a single screen

You can try to use team

teams works for seeing each other's hands on our "main" colors, but not the two unassigned seats. you can use options to turn on showing hands, but if there is script based drawing/discarding/other assigned to a particular color you still have to jump between the colors. Best work around we've found at this time is to reveal all hands, hope the game has a solo mode for scripting, and use that. That'll be hit or miss depending on how the script reacts.

Unless anyone else has other ideas I think the end result of what we want to do isn't particularly possible. We'd need a way to assign someone to multiple colors, or a hotkey to jump between colors.

I think one of these two mods might be what you're looking for:

I haven't tried them myself, but from reading the descriptions, they seem like they would work in your scenario.

Here's a simple solution:

Stay on 1 color.

Create 2 hidden zones for that color to simulate a hand for each of the characters.

Thanks everyone! I'll give each of those a go and see how it works.

I think what I would do is Disable hands by pressing H and then set cameras on each player's card setup location and switch between cameras playing both players and seeing the cards simply as they sit there in the floor (or by pressing Alt).
