I mean: I'm not sure that it's physically possible to make a 3 or 5 sided dice.
Standard practice for a D3 is to roll a D6; halve the result, rounding up.
1-2 becomes 1
3-4 becomes 2
5-6 becomes 3
For a D5, you can apply the above method to a D10 for the same result.
I guess it's possible that someone might have modded D6 or D10 dice in this way, but it seems like a lot of work to solve something that's not even really a problem.
Just search a bit on the workshop.
You may find 2 differnt options ,a 3 sided dice or a d6 dice numbered 1 to 3 twice.
Same with the d5 ,maybe a d5 dice ,else 1to 5 numbered twice.
I will look through my favourites and see if i book marked any.

You may find unique 3 or 5 sided dice are on workshop too -the shapes are possible.
These special dice are normally described as GAMESCIENCE ZOCCHI DICE . I have a good selection of these dice in my physical collection. I especially like the larger dice that range from d13 to d22
Seems some of these special dice are available here-

Else search for d7,d9,d13,d15,d18,d22 -not sure if a d16 is available or not. I think d24s are. That is as far as physical dice go anyway -you will need to see which are available on the workshop.

Of course there are 3 and 5-sided dice. Games such as DCC use Zocchi dice, for example.

However, a delve into the history of dice games shows us that people developed weird dice in shapes too numerous to list. Scroll down to see his collection organized by #-sides.

And yes, you can make weird dice in TTS too.

This is where I bought my physical Zocchi dice from -
they deliver to Australia ,for me ,in a little over a week. Pretty fast.
I just noticed ,been a few years since I bought any ,but these dice are quite expensive now -must be inflation. Lucky I bought all the ones I need already. Got most of them roughly 5 years ago -seems prices have doubled since then -unless my memory is hazy.
I imagine it's the opposite . There's nothing causing a run on Zocchi dice or driving much demand, probably making them a niche item.
Standard polygonal dice (d4,6,8,10,d12.d20...) are cheaper for me than they were in the 1990s. it's insane how cheap dice sets are now.
That is expensive to me.
You are right though-
when bought in sets OR
just buying standard dice they are cheaper.
I mostly use the d13 d14 d15 d16 d18 for roll under using Descending Armour Class for Basic Moldvay D&D . Works great. (ROLL UNDER ATTACK ROLLS- roll the AC or else roll under the AC) This is my OWN House rule where attack bonuses ,like a fighter going up in level means he progressively uses a smaller dice to attack with. Normally start with a d18 for characters ,whilst scummy half hit die monsters might start with a d20 or d22. Colour code them to my character too ,where for example my Ranger has a full set of green dice amd the wizard for example has purple dice, cleric white and fighter blue ,the thief class uses Black. Berserker types get red and oddball classes get yellow. I have got quite a few of these special dice ,considering I like to have each size in 7 colours if I can with a few spares for monster rolls.
I like the d5 d7 and d9 for magic weapons , instead of a boring old d4+1 dagger i use a shiny d5 enchanted dagger ,etc.
As well that d5 dagger also means my 1st level fighter now uses a d16 to hit with rather than the normal d18 (the +1 enchantment means 1 smaller die type).(PS there isnt a d17 so the +1 here gives a nice bonus).
I have a hard rule where I dont go below a d12 to hit with. Just too easy otherwise. And same thing with AC ,unless a monster/character is godlike AC does not go below 2. A character in Plate and Shield has the best AC of 2. Conversely the peasant wearing nothing has an AC of 9.
