Exporting pdf manuals for personal use?
There's this translated japanese board game here and I'm buying a physical copy from amazon jp. The manual is going to be in japanese, but on here it's translated, albeit only accessible in-game...anyway I can export it as a pdf outside of the tabletop simulator program without screenshotting like a madman?

And if I can't do that can I make the manual double paged when it pops out somehow?

Open the game's .JSON file, you can find those in the TTS install directory (varies by OS).
If you have a ton of mods installed, it might be easier to just save a game you load up in single player mode. It will be the newest save json file in your saved game directory...

Text search for "pdf" and it should tell you the URL. You might also be able to find the pdf url in-game by just alt-clicking on the pdf object itself; depends how it's being shown. JSON file will show all the urls in the game though...

You might need a proper text editor. Brackets, Sublime, Atom (discontinued) will all work and they're free.

All of the pdfs are stored in the following folder
C:\Users\<YOUR USER NAME>\Documents\My Games\Tabletop Simulator\Mods\PDF

You two give very different answers

But they both work. Mine displays all pdfs whereas SaltyO's is specially for that mod

Of course. Thank you for your answers

There was a 3rd option I pursued where I looked up the game on boardgamegeek and found the translated manuals in the files

hehe, of course, always check the geek first ;)
