I was spectating, and took on my own opinions, I saw that you were hitler and called it, then you banned me, sorry if I rekt your game. I won.

It would be one thing if you tried to say you were just playing around for fun and got lucky, and perhaps I over-reacted. I did wonder that briefly. But I have zero patience for trolls and people who try to ruin games. Way too many of them in TTS.
But it's entirely obvious from your comments here that you did deliberately try to ruin our game.

When someone bans me, I'm actually glad. I wouldn't want to play with them if they are that salty anyway. So, just move on.
And calling out names on forums is never a good thing to do.

If you join a game and end up spectating, you are commonly expected to not interfere with the game or try to influence the game. I can't believe I even have to say this.
It's at the very least very poor sportsmanship. Who can possibly support someone purposely trying to influence or "rek" someone elses game?
Also, read his comments. He's not saying like "oh I was joking around sorry". He admits that he made a conclusion of who was Hitler and called it out. He admits that he was purposely trying to influence or hurt the game in progress.
And just look how absolutely childishly he is acting about it.
That's clearly trolling the game in my book, and I reserve the right to ban anyone I want. Yes it's a risk that goes with allowing people to join a game in progress. But we accept that risk and ban trolls.
Let's put this in perspective. I didn't call him out. I didn't make this thread to whine that someone ruined our game. I just banned him and moved on. Then I see this stupid thread.
HE was butthurt that he got banned for doing what he did, and made this thread to call out someone who had nothing to do with it, and brag of his stupid efforts to wreck a game in progress. And you are actually trying to support him?

As you can see in Whiplash's screenshot in the 5th comment: Stongarm (the OP) calls red out to be Hitler.. it is a spectator's responsibility to not influence or effect the game in anyway. Yes, it is fine for them to watch/chat casually and about non-game related things, but: calling out someone will inherently change how other people would act in the game, and so has the potential to ruin the game, like it did here.
Strongarm made it so the other 8 people had wasted the time they invested in the game/took away the fun from the game away, which is a form trolling. Now, is banning him too harsh? Judging by the way Strongarm acted here: no... it seems he is just trying to get a rise out of people and continues to do so by a) calling out the wrong person, b) bragging about ruining the game and c) showing no remorse about it.
As I said, I didn't create this drama. We accept the risk of having spectators join, and simply ban people who abuse it. We just banned him and moved on.
He is the one who created this drama by creating a thread about it. And I'm gonna stand up for what I did, because I had every right to do so.
If he'd actually added me and apologized saying it was a joke and he didin't realize he actually was right, or something like that, I would have probably unbanned him. But since he went full ♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it, he can kiss my ass.
A spectator have even less information than the players itself
(each player knows AT LEAST his own role, and fascists have lots more of information, while spectator doesn't know anyone's role)
Yes I agree that a spectator trying to tell people how to play is a problem, but I see no problem at all on someone who has absolutely no information on the game to throw guesses at theirs roles.
From what I read, you guys seems to be just really salty that you lost and are trying to find a scapegoat.
A spectator has no information at all, why would anyone from the actual game listen to their guesses? Even if they guess it right, it's nothing more than a guess.
It would be different if the spectator had somehow more information than the people in the game and shared those. That would ruin the game. Throwing random baseless guesses doesn't ruin anything.
If you don't like that, then don't allow spectators in the first place.

We had no problem with what happened. We banned him, laughed, and played a new game. We didn't give a ♥♥♥♥. It only became an issue because I saw this thread.
HE was the one who made this thread, because he was butthurt he got banned for it. Childishly taunting and gloating about his stupid actions. And you are defending him.
I already said we know the risks of having spectators and we accept those risks. We just ban them and move on. It would have been over at that point, like the last 30 other trolls I banned.
You are commenting as if I started this controversy or whined about him. He started it with this childish, taunting thread. I presented the actual facts.
I didn't complain about spectators ruining games. I didn't complain about anything. I responded to ignorant allegations.

Whenever someone tries to offend me, it fills me with certainty that they were wrong in the first place, and had to ultimately put down their façade and show their real level.
As I said @OP, just move on. It's not someone you'd want to play with anyway.
But then again, you should redeem yourself for pointing the finger at the wrong person on your title, maybe offend someone who has no blame at all on this.
And that's where you don't seem to grasp the concept of games like Secret Hitler. It's about deduction and figuring out who the bad guys are. That includes evaluating cues in what everyone does and says. A player accusing another player being Hitler is part of the game, it's your job to draw conclusions about who's lying in that instance. You have to work with what you get from the other players.
But anything said by people not actively playing (including, for example, "killed" players) can imbalance the whole game just the same. They don't even have to be right, but a random accusation of "He's Hitler!" by a spectator CAN influence the way the players think and behave. They inadvertently will think about this accusation, think again about what that player did previously in the game. They might be more wary of the alleged Hitler, shifting attention to them and their actions from their previous suspects, for example.
tl;dr : Outside interference in deduction games is disruptive and should not be tolerated.
