I can choose Type (Box, Hex, Circle and Mat), Images, Thickness, Stackable and Stretch.
Where Stackable seems to work only on tiles of one type.
I guess the simulator is not usable for wargames then (where usually different unit types are on the same hex) ?
Tiles can only stack with identical tiles, and don't provide the kind of options for manipulation that decks of cards do. In most games, much of this functionality is gained by placing the tiles in bags, but this wont work for placing diverse stacks on the board. You could just use square cards, but even THEN, cards will only stack if all are flipped face up or face down.
All that being said, if you play with the hex grid and snap on, and set your rotation to 60, you can still neatly stack tiles and manipulate them individually or in groups about as well as you could at an actual table, so I don't see this as TOO much of a hindrance. Though I may not fully understand what functionality you're actually looking for.
