Try launching the game in 1080p windowed on your primary display, then drag it over to your TV and double click the top bar to maximize it. You should see it scale up and correct the resolution of UI elements shortly after. You can then hit alt+enter to enter fullscreen mode if you don't want to play the game windowed.
Please also submit this behavior here https://tabletopsimulator.nolt.io/ as it is absolutely a bug that should be looked in to.
If I open the game on my monitor, make it windowed, and drag it to my TV I can play a windowed 1080P instance of the game which is not what I'm looking for at all.
So I tried keeping the game at 1080P windowed and launching on my TV, which results in this:

A window with the same problem I get if I try to launch the game at 4K. So it doesn't matter whether I launch the game at 2160P fullscreen, 1080P fullscreen, or in a window at 1080P, this issue persists.
I just want to play board games on my TV, and not in a window that's the size of a quarter of the screen.
It just feels like this game doesn't support 4K to me.
Yeah, I've tried re-installing multiple times and messing with my monitor setup over and over again and I can't find a way around this. Sucks because I'm primarily using my TV right now and I only switch over to my monitor when playing VR. Kind of a pain.
also i have 4k resolution, on main screen, and it works perfectly fine.
