Will the global chat come back?

Hello.
I logged in and the global chat doesn't seem to be working. Will it come back?
While I personally do not use it much and normally find games over discord, I still think it's an integral part of the game that was used by players to find others for a shared game experience. Not bringing it back would likely also hurt the success of the game.

so if you dont use why you care about it so much about it ?.... i really dont get why so many people care about the chatting option.. if you r looking for a chatting program i believe there are many more and probably better

According to the official post on the matter of taking it down, "we have decided to officially take global chat down for good." So no, it's probably not coming back.

The global chat is more than likely gone for good. We have LFG channels in our Discord, Steam Chat Hub and here on Steam too that you can use for the time being.
