method to upload images to steam cloud outside of game

just wondering if there's any other way to upload images to steam cloud, especially since in-game i can only do them one at a time

There is none. However:

You can set all the file to local when creating your mod. Once you have everything in, you can go to Upload -> Cloud Upload and select the small arrow icon on top of the asset browser window.

This will upload all locally loaded items to the Steam Cloud and create a new game state, where all local adresses are substituted by the assets uploaded to the cloud.
