Extracting component's images from mods.
I often make print and plays of games, but locating images of the boards and components can be really time-consuming. The other day I realized that it could probably be possible to extract the images for boards and cards from that game's mod on the workshop, Anyone knows where component images are stored or how to do this?

Alternately, you can temporarily rename the already present images folder to force the game to create a new one. When you load the mod you want, most of the images in the new folder should only be for that mod.
Afterwards, delete the new folder and rename the other one back to Images.

Standardly, they are in Documents, Mygames, Tabletop Simulator, Images. Though the files in there are unsorted and you have to search for what you want via the link name from ingame (custom menu).

I think the mod backup tool might be more of a help there, since it can gather files belonging to each mod together, but I've never used that so far so can't tell how exactly that one works.

As Baronyx said, though I don't use any 3rd party stuff to deal with TTS.
A little workaround is to load the mod who's assets you need, save it as saved game, go to the TTS Saves directory (in tree mentioned above), and load up the last saved game .JSON file. All the URLs for the images/assets are there. You might want to snag a nice text editor if you don't have one: Atom, Brackets, Sublime, etc...

I tried this one and it was actually extremely easy to do. Thanks! You saved me a lot of time from looking for the images online.

You can use TTS-backup. It allows you to download a full mod and back it to a .ttsmod file, which can be saved anywhere in you harddisk. This file can be openned with winrar (may be, renaming the extension file from .ttsmod to .rar), and it contains all the images.
