Very High Ping
This is the only game I have this issue on... Any game I join, I get obnoxiously high ping, which causes lag when dragging parts. The ping bounces around anywhere from 80ms to 999ms, but usually stays between 200ms and 600ms. This causes stuttering and lagging when dragging objects, making it very difficult to play.
I've done the typical "fixes" like resetting network adapter, checking drivers, port forwarding, etc. The oddest thing is that voice seems to work just fine.

Just to confirm, this happens in every mod you join, you've tested on multiple servers and different mods?

Yes. No matter what. If I host, I can last about an hour before it crashes everything. Sorry for late reply; been kind of busy.

First test by disabling Defender and any AV you have installed, if that doesn't improve things, it could be something more unusual. This thread troubleshoots a problem similar to yours, unfortunately the only thing that fixed it was reinstalling Win10. Hope you can get it working.

Yeah, I actually tried that not too long ago. I've noticed that every Windows update really messes with networking, and I'm guessing this is more of a Windows/Tabletop compatibility issue. Literally every update from Windows that comes through ruins every one of my network adapters, so I spend a day or two switching adapters and rotating drivers to get the best connection. :steambored:

Windows is terrible. It was not designed for networking. I could tell you stories of working at M$ that would make you run to the hills. While on that subject, I started dual booting Linux Mint off of Win 10 so that I could play TTS. A year after that, I stopped using Windows 10 and now main Linux Mint 24-7... Just throwing that out there :)

God, I haven't used Linux in like 10 years. I guess I shall try that. Is there a specific Linux build you recommend for running TTS?

I use Linux MInt, MATE, or Xfxe, both are meant for older machines and are very fast and efficient. https://linuxmint.com/download.php
Cinnamon is the "prettier" one, it looks a lot like Win 10 or OSX. If you haven't used Linux in 10 years you might be surprised at how nice it looks these days hehe. Mint is extremely easy to dual boot onto. Let me know if you are having any problems. Steam is installable right off the desktop, the repositories look like app stores now.

Thanks. I shouldn't have too much issue unless a lot of the commands have changed dramatically.
