How's the dice roller?
How's the roll dice function in TTS? I only did 100 rolls of 2d6 and it looked okay-ish. It was what I'd kind of expect, a couple dice combos never came up, a couple came up a bunch of times. Have anyone seriously looked at it? I found one video, but only 100 trials like mine, so hard to judge.

Considering it has physics involved, and you 'shake' them, I'd say it's pretty good.

I'm referring to hitting 'r' to roll them, if that wasn't clear by the phrase "roll dice function in TTS". Now if I had said "How is Sparrow's roll dice function?," that would have been referring to my ability to use the mouse to gather the dice, shake the mouse back and forth and then release the dice across the table.

Even the R button rolling is still physics based. The dice are given a random rotation and a random force applied to them in an upwards direction. The rest is determined by physics and can be changed to some degree by changing the gravity setting for example.

That being said, if you don't like that, there are numerous other dice rolling mods out there, including some that only work digitally and post the result to the chat without rolling actual physical dice.

R seems okay so far. It's a little disconcerting when the die goes up without rotating and comes down, but that just seems to be a facet of the random rotation.

You can always hit R a bunch of times, that randomises it even more and should prevent the effect of seemingly being thrown up without rotation.

physics and RNG.. it works pretty well i think.

a couple dice combos never came up, a couple came up a bunch of times.

ive rolled up plenty of DnD characters in my time... well into the thousands im sure ;o)
take a guess how many times ive rolled 3d6 x6 for stats and gotten more than one natural 18 per set.
...not very many

that's the beauty if randomness. its... well... random

TTS does a fair job of replicating this for sure

Does R still roate the dice? All I get it to do is raise them

Yes it should still do it. Are you sure it is an actual die that you try to do this on? If the object type is not a die, it will not randomise the rotation.
