sometimes there are hidden scripts, they are in asset packs. then you need to find out how to extract and edit them to work in local version.
1. Open original workshop in Tabletop Simulator.
2. Go to Modding-CloudManager-Upload All Loaded Files.
3. Go to Modding-Workshop Upload.
In fact I do not need to have the workshop locally. I only need to have my own copy of the original that is independent so I lose no file/data when author decides to remove the original from the Steam.
Now I THINK that I made a whole independent and working copy of the original workshop.
Am I right?
i don't know if it replaces the links from file to your versions, but if it does then yes.
edit: seems like you were right.
but this does not work with assets, if there are hidden scipts that won't work after different link.
edit2: you can leave step 3 out, and leave save as just as is after step 2.
edit3:
1. Open original workshop in Tabletop Simulator.
2. Go to Modding-CloudManager-Upload All Loaded Files.
3. Save
cloud-upload the mod, it will say that nothing needs to be uploaded to the cloud. If you want a truly local copy of a mod, you need the TTS mod backup tool.
