Counter Sleds for Board game Counters
Is a Workshop or Default asset available to place counters on ,to play Board Games with?

Something where my wargame counter for example is laying at around 60 degree angle so it stands upright without falling.

However, the same problem applies with that rack as with any of them: The game does not really support this and you would have to lay your counters down carefully by hand. And whenever you pick the rack up, the counters would go back to horizontal. It might look neat, and probably through some shenanigans it would be achievable, but I don't think its worth it. Considering the amount of features that are there to make counters quick to look at and also that you could use figures instead of counters, with the counter information added to them in the object description, I think there is no real reason to fiddle with a concept like you have shown.

I have some counter sleds in Physical form for my Board Wargames,I have them in 3 sizes I purchased from RDOXX to use in a variety of games. They make the counters that normally lay flat appear standing and mimic more of a miniatures type game. They really work well, make the flat Board Game come alive.

This is what I would like to use in TTS as well.

Got the model to work in game, thanks.
Your instructions were very easy to follow.

Would be even better if the sled was shorter though,it is more of a card sled whereas i wanted a counter sled, needs to be half as wide or a third as wide maybe.I just read you said I can use Gizmo tool to make shorter,I will try that.

Does work although as you said a bit of manipulation involved to get counter seated,I found if I made sled small then my counter could straddle it top to bottom rather than siting in little track.

Any way to stick/join counter to tray?

I gave it another go.
Used the gizmo tool,in scale I changed X value to 2.
Might of been 3.5 or 4.i tried to replicate what I did and 2 is not enough, did it quick first time and got confused with number.
Voila!
This makes sled much flatter.Basically makes front section much wider, hence counter don't fall off).

Also scaled Sled (using the minus key) so that it was a little bigger size than counter.
Then I put my counter on sled, counter sits at about 40 degrees from horizontal and does not fall off,
I can move the sled around and counter stays on.

The counter is straddling but still on sled, not in little seat I don't think but this works fabulously.Would prefer counter stood at higher angle but with more fiddling might be able to achieve this.In further testing you can seat counter right into little seat and it works good. You can even throw the combined sled/counter combo round a bit and they stay together.

I am really happy to use.

You should add this model to Workshop so others can use it,maybe with some slight variations because some people may struggle to scale and use Gizmo tool,I was surprised I could ,thought it would be too hard. But it wasn't-bit busy now but with more time later I will come back to experiment and play with this new toy in game.

I added an ingame picture under artwork, shows up in my profile and I assume in artwork tab in community hub.

Thanks again.

Glad you got what you asked for, and I am surprised it works good in that way. Also I did not expect that the rack coult be morphed into such a shape, haha.

Yes you could join the counters to the sled, but getting them off again would be cumbersome. You could use combine attach, but to release them again, you'd have to "connect to nothing", i.e. pull the arrow off the table and release. That breaks the bond again.

Not sure if I will release this as a mod, but I will definitely mention you and add your screenshot if I do.
