New to TTS, can't figure out how to start single player games

When I start the game, the menu I see has JOIN, Setting, Logout and CREATE. The videos on the website show a different menu, with SINGLE PLAYER as an option. How can I start a single player game?

Select the Create button. This just means you wish to create your own game. A secondary menu will pop up that will say Singleplayer. From there you can load in a save file or a workshop mod and play in a single player environment.

I think there MIGHT be a bug with some new installs where people aren't able to make games. If this happens, verify your game integrity by right clicking on the game in the library, restart steam, and try clicking Create > Single Player again.

Verifying integrity fixed servers not loading.

This didn't help... It just goes to the game editor.. How do you actually play the game? I go to crete>single player>select game .. And it just loads the editor..

The "editor" is the game. There is no mode where you play against an AI, it's just a tool that offers a tabletop with physics that allow you to move pieces around, roll dice etc. If you subscribe to a game that has "scripted" in the title, the scripts can do some things for you like dealing the right amount of starting cards etc., but they won't simulate another player.

Well since they killed global chat singleplayer is the only mode you will ever be able to play now. Sad to see a game ruined by their own devs

Expect there is discord a server browser and some people have friends, ik pretty wild concept ...

You mean the dead as ♥♥♥♥ "server"
And being forced to use an external site just because of a dumb drama isnt a good look
