Can you Play & Talk to Strangers?
This obviously sounds like an odd request, but this is truly the deciding factor for me buying the game since none of my friends own the game and don't plan on doing so for a while (or ever).

I'm really just wondering if you can play with random people, lets just say I wanted to play secret hitler, can I just join other peoples games randomly, or do I only get to play with my friends on like a lan server? Also, is there a way for me to communicate with these people through microphone in-game, or do I have to talk with them via group-chat on steam?

I would be very thankful towards whomever if they could answer me these questions.

I would be tempted myself by Cosmic Encounter ^^
(You can try it first with folks who already have and host it! No need to buy it first as not every players have to buy it to play with those who already have the very played DLC.)

Unless there's a DnD specific DLC it's unnecessary. DLC is just the publishers essentially making their own workshop content (with admittedly higher quality) in order to sell it through TTS because it's argueably a good way to boost sales of their game.

DLC just gives you that specific game.
