custom model/mesh fail question
I'm brand new to TTS (like first week new) so I'm sorry if I'm saying dumb things or asking dumb questions.

In several workshop mods on loading, I'm getting errors on models/meshes which link to things like:

but they work correctly if I change them to:

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way I can set this stuff so it doesnt load incorrectly everytime? Or anything I should be doing differently on my end?

Thanks.

p.s. those arent actual links just examples.

I'm having the same exact problem. Would love to know if there's a way to make the correct URL "sticky" so I don't have to fix it each time I load the mod, or pull an item off an infinite stack.

You can try to use this software[www.berserk-games.com] to pre-download mods. It shouldn't be needed, but it will hopefully download the correct files so you don't need to manually mess with the URLs. It's handy for all sorts of other things as well (backing up mods, sending files to friends, finding which files from a mod are missing, deleting unused images from the mod assets, etc) so I would suggest you download it even if someone else tells you how to actually fix your issue.

I do use TTS Mod Backup, thats how I know the links and can change them. To the first reply: I stopped having this problem, but I'm not sure if I've just been avoiding those mods, or it was something like a windows or netframe update that fixed it... best of luck.

em, I can't thank you enough for suggesting this. It's fixed 99% of the issues I was having (and the other 1% are probably cases where the file truly is missing at the source). The underlying issue is still there, but at least now I have a way to easily fix it when it occurs.
