Do you have any images of how such a device would look like? It sounds like it could be easy to create a 3D model of.

Does Scrabble still come with those little wooden trays for the tiles[i.ebayimg.com]? Like those but tall enough for cards, I'm guessing. That or something similar. I'd be surprised if it weren't already floating around the workshop somewhere.

EDIT: I remember there being one in a table for something else, but I'm not sure how well pinching the one asset and reposting it alone as my own work would go over.

It would very much look like a scrabble rack. I am very much new to this stuff. Made a custom token with the proper look (no ledge for card standing) cant figure out how to make cards stick to it.

I made a model and experimented with it, and it doesn't really seem feasable. It seems to be in the nature of the card object to always return to flat when picked up from an almost vertical position. It works, but is sort of clunky. I can give you the model if you want to experiment with it yourself, but I doubt it will be very useful.

Please do. Post it in the Workshop, even. Clunky and not useful are fine - hand zones already handle efficient hand management - but as long as dropping the card on the raised end such that it falls toward the lower end consistently results in it coming to rest on the lower end at the correct angle (rather than e.g. continuing to fall and sliding off), it'll be the best that can be done with a model alone.

As an aside, it turns out the card stand I remembered from another table was made of three bench things locked into place to form the desired shape. I couldn't repost it if I wanted to.

I'm gonna give you the links, so you can assemble it yourself.

Go to objects, components, custom and pull a custom model onto the table.
In the first slot (model) put in this:

In the fourth slot (collider) put in this:

For the second slot (diffuse), google for a seamless wood texture and get the direct link to it, then paste that link in there.
The third one you can ignore or google a wood normal map and put that in there.
