Laptop for TTS

I've been wanting to get a friend of mine a laptop for TTS. Any recommendations for a low-mid budget laptop?

Eh, TTS is lightweight enough that a lot of laptops could probably handle it OK.

TTS by itself is lightweight, but it depends on what you want to do with it. Some mods, especially 3D environments for RPGs are getting quite performance intense. So if you plan to play that, I would recommend to make sure that enough RAM is in the machine. At least 16GB.
Also, many mods have high resolution textures and other big files, so make sure there is enough hard drive space. Around a terabyte would be good.

as replied to same question in discord, if you must game on a laptop get yourself a peripheral mouse and hook it up to a decent display. TTS can be really difficult to navigate on a tiny screen and actually makes some larger mods nearly impossible unless you really know your shortcuts.
