How to make 'bag' for assets in game
Sorry for all the questions as of late but I recently started messing with this game again. I bought TTS because once upon a time I used to play quite a bit of board games. Seeing it in operation renewed my interest in the hobby. So I've bought a bunch of games $$ and now am trying to teach myself the rules while comfortably sitting in a recliner. BTW, the hobby looks healthier than ever with a lot of great possibilities. In my hayday if you wanted deep you pushed carboard divisions across a cardboard map with a tome of a rulebook. Now there are a plethora of options.

With that said I added Arkham Horror LCG and am messing with it and noticed that the chaos bags do not reflect the Learn to Play PDF instructions. I've assembled the correct tokens and now want to keep them seperate in its own persistant bag but I'm not sure how to create it.

Most mods will have correct bags.. try looking at one of the other zillion AHlcg mods.. as for bags... if you do not want ot get into modding... TTS provides some standard bag objects in the componants menu.

  • Click on OBJECTS
  • Click on COMPONANTS
  • Click on TOOLS
  • Click on or Drag out the BAG.

Name it w/e... fill it with w/e and you can also change its colour. (right click menu).

Once you have it done you can save it a few ways. One way would be to load the AHLCG mod you like and make your custom bag and then save it.. then use that save to start new games. Another way is to make a SAVED OBJECT.

  • Right click on Object
  • Select SAVE OBJECT

This is like a special way of saving componants rather than full games. Like a normal save you can have directories and stuff. Once it is saved you can load it into any mod just like you did with the Bag at the start.

  • Click on OBJECTS
  • Click on SAVED OBJECTS
  • Click on or Drag out the BAG.

Another thing to note.. with Save Games and Workshop Files there is a drop down menu. So instead of clicking it to load press the THREE DOTS in the courner of the icon. This will open a window with all the files componants. Just like a saved obejct.. you can choose to click on or drag out to the table any individual part from that list.

Worked like a charm. I appreciate the time you took out to reply such a clear post. I know I should probably take a bit more time and dig for the answer myself but damnit I want to mess with this program.

Thanks

turning random models into bag objects with the custom ui is an obsession of mine (alt-click a 3d model that is not a defined class like coin or dice, generic 3d model object, click custom, make it a bag).
