save Decals/Stamps?
Hey! Just wondering how to save Decals properly. I managed to import a PNG in singleplayer mode, but as soon as i leave the singleplayer server my imported file is gone. Any tips? Cheers!

This funtionality is not clear, and I'm currently (along with a hundred other things) trying to figure out how to make decals more useful in the form of packs for designers, for instance, die face decal packs. If figure it out, I'll let you know. If one dissects how decals are worked with in the .json files, it seems easy enough to figure out, I just haven't been able to devote time to it.

Hey, thanks for the update!

Try this: make a fresh table, import a bunch of decals and splat one of each across a board or other component. Save the game as a mod and saved game. Go to yer mods/saves paths and see what the json file is doing with the decal info. Then, it might be possible to just write out decal sets into a file... maybe...

I was wondering if we have to buy the decals. I found that read on the subject. But I wonder how it works? If we can make our own? Erase them entierely? Get them to work with the Skytool?

buy them? That's definitely not true. May I ask where you read that?

By memory when I read the announcements I didn't saw any in my stamp tool

Maybe they have a DLC project, I misssed that memo, but decals are mod def free. Maybe collections of them is a bit odd. What' I'm doing is creating a token set -- I may use some of Tumba and CHRY's tools to help me streamline this work as it's a large project, but if you have a decal on a mod, it IS IN the decal bank. You can also see it in the mod or save's .json file in your /mods directory, just text search for decal. If you're clever, you can even add the decals right to the decal list since they're just links to urls. The normal function of making decals will not cost money though, nor will making your own.

Ack... hate not being that clever each time I have to fetch numerous folder and think I will spend an afternoon on this to plan to stamp an emote in advance I kinda decide NOT to do it! LOL but it is nice to know they are in a folder somewhere.

Maybe just fetch a tutorial some place and rem, ember that I neverused them before so I shouldn't turn sad. :D

I love TTS I think because of that; it is universal. For everyone. ^^ I just have to think I have contacts who have that strenght over other things. :3

When you consider how far it has come in over 6-7 years with such a small team and what it is still capable of doing, the community hasn't even brushed the surface (or service - ed.). Yeah, it can be tedious for a lot of people who don't feel comfortable around scripts (like me), but I find a way to make most things work my way and enjoy the process of solving a problem in a unique way.
