Not Connected to Steam issue

I haven't played this for a while. Today I updated the game and launched it. I can't do anything at all in the game, not even open the tutorial. Everything gives me the message "Not connected to Steam" in brigh red on the top of the main menu. I thought maybe that was something related to multiplayer but even the single player or tutorial won't launch. Can someone enlighten me on what's happening?

I have already unninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) and x64 and it didn't work.

Did you try rightclcking Tabletop Sim in your library, clicking Local Files, Verifying Integrity of Game Files, then restarting steam, then starting the game?

Having the same issue. Tried all that Elder_Salt recommended and still having the same issue
