is there anyway to draw on the game board so that only I can see what i have drawn.

I'm DMing a DnD 5e session on tts, and its going well but i'd like to be able to draw things like traps on the maps without the players being able to see them. just placing a hidden zone over them is pretty conspicuous so i'm looking for alternatives.

Yeah, unless there's a scripting solution (there might be), the only thing I can think of is planning each map like a stageplay. Just draw black game master zones everywhere to simulate "fog of war." Each zone should have a point to it, it's a room, or its a single box where you know there's going to be a trap or monster. Or a sandbox where you can pull stuff out of. There are ways to automatically dissolve zones when a token enters them via script (seems simple enough). You can draw whatever in a well-planned stage of game master zones and nobody will see, if you have different zones to manage it becomes easier to deal with the unpredictable. You shouldn't be in the position where you're drawing curtains in front of people a lot, gotta reign in those wandering character types. So the short answer is, make everything various layers of fog of war until the characters get there.

i kind of already do this, revealing maps, one room at a time however for my own sanity, as I can be somewhat forgetful, having the ability to draw things ont eh map like traps without the players seeing it would be great. the idea being i can reveal a room as they enter without revealing teh trap drawn on the squares that trigger it

Do you need any more players in your campaign?

Jesssie -- Please consider suggesting this feature to the devs either on the official Discord channel or berserk-games.com forums. They actually do pay attention. It's a good feature you're asking for.
