This is a really basic wargaming need/function. I tried the pawn option - it worked until I released the pawn and the unit and pawn fell through the table...a total non starter.
So, as per BoneWhite's comment "It wouldn't be too much trouble to script this into the game, but Baryonyx's solution is much simpler and easier."
What would the code be to enable a hotkey or some method of not using a pawn and enabling a wheel to be performed? With 20+ units on the table using a pawn is not really viable during play.
Alternatively, if Team TTS is reading these messages, I'd suggest you make this some way really easy for players to wheel units - maybe where you hover the hand on an object is where the unit centres its pivot? This is such a common wargaming need I'm surprised it's not in the original build.
Any ideas how this can be fixed?
Cheers
Happy W
That's why the scripting exists.
It doesn't get fixed, you adapt it.
Head over to the #scripting channel on the Discord for your scripting questions - they're much more suited to a back-and-forth
@Baryonyx - I'll give that a go. Cheers.
