DnD/Tabletop RPG's for Beginners
Since I finished reading Darths and Droids, I've been hoping to try Tabletop RPG's with my family (myself + 3 others). None of us have ever played an RPG before, and my sister especially isn't that tolerant of me spending 30 mins in the rulebook. So I was wondering; what would be the best way for complete noobies to play RPG's (DnD or others) on Tabletop Simulator, given 4 players? Are there any modules on the workshop intended for complete noobs, or would I be better off printing maps and rules from the internet?

DnD is most often done with 1 DM and 2 or more players. The lost mines of phandelver is the 5th edition starter campaign. It's basically meant for newer players. You'll still need to get the information for it on the internet, but it's free online. If you need the maps to use in TTS, then you can grab my mod in the workshop called "You Can DM Too," which has all the maps for the starter campaign loaded into One World.

If you all want something simpler, then you can find many different types of RPG's available to play on tts. Good luck!

I highly recommend betrayal at house on the hill. It includes some basic concepts of tabletop DnD and is simple enough for beginners to enjoy the genre.
I've realized from skimming the rulebook that I'm not going to learn how to DM in just from the rulebook, so I'd like to join more experianced players for a oneshot as a player, to learn basic prinicples like how to handle combat. Inivite me if your running a session suitable for new players, and I'll join.

I could DM a one-shot for your group. Are you interested in a specific system? I can do Pathfinder/Starfinder, D&D5E, and Star Wars RPG (FFG).
