Friends see blank cards

Whenever I play Superfight, the cards for my friends are blank. This is especially infuriating because I paid for it and it literally doesn't work. We've tried a bunch of fixes online, but nothing seems to work. Most workshop things work just fine when everyone is subscribed to it, but you can't "subscribe" to Superfight because you have to buy it. Literally makes no sense.

All things from workshop are downloaded "on demand", subscribing to it does not download the assets, it only downloads the save file.
All images are downloaded as they need to be loaded in-game. This happens regardless if you're hosting or connecting to a host.

That being said, it only works for workshop files. DLCs are part of the game and are downloaded with the game installation.

Either have them verify their installation via steam, or it's probably a problem with your host, since having people need to preload their workshop mods in order to work isn't normal either.
