"Could not find a part of the path" error
Hi,

I recently went to play TTS after a haitus, and after a super lengthy and resource-intensive start up, it spams messages on the main menu of:

"Save.json error Could not find a part of the path "\\My Games\\\My Games\Tabletop Simulator\Mods\Workshop\351651895.cjc"

Once for each Workshop content I'm subscribed to.

I don't know why it is trying to access "My Games\My Games" and I can't find any config files to change. Anyone experienced this before?

I've tried:
- Verifying game cache
- Reinstalling
- Deleting \My Games\Tabletop Simulator
- Re-verifying the cache after this

I'm at a complete loss of what else I can do.

It tries to access "My Games -->", because it is where your workshop and save json files are saved. Double-check it exists. The path is Documents/My games/Tabletop Simulator/ and then something with mods. There should be a folder to saves and workshop and so on.

After you've checked if the mods/workshop folders inside of /Tabletop Simulator/ exists, also go into options ingame of TTS and change your file directory to where Steam is located instead and see if that works.

@Nomaki - This is usually an issue with your anti-virus. Make sure to add an exception to Tabletop Simulator.

Someone else that was having this issue, just uninstalled and reinstalled his anti-virus and then this error went away.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I didn't even think of that.

Added it as an exception to BitDefender and everything works fine now!

Thanks a huge bunch!

No problem, thanks for letting us know! I'm going to mark your post on our official forums as solved as well. :)

Maybe it's worth adding this issue to the sticky thread as well
