To some degree, yes. Right click the zone, and there is a little cog/gear icon you can select which allows you to make the zone non-transnparent and some other options I don't remember. Not sure if that helps you though. I suspect you want to make the zone even lighter.

Remember you can always hold "alt" on top of the items to see it zoomed in

Well thanks for your help. What will be ideal for me is that when the user moves the cursor to its hidden zone, the transparency become total (remain hidden for other players). Well perhaps in an update :)

There is now an option to change the opacity of hidden zones. It is tucked away in Menu -> Configuration -> Interface Tab -> Misc. Settings -> Hidden Zone (Show/Hide) Opacity.

The "Show" opacity is the opacity of zones that you are allowed to see inside. The "Hide" opacity is the opacity of zones you are not allowed to see inside. I set the "Hidden Zone Show Opacity" opacity to 0 and that allowed me to see the elements inside my zone without any color tint.

For who is still searching for this, you can quickly trigger any changes via the console by using the commands hidden_zone_showing_opacity and hidden_zone_hiding_opacity . Their argument goes from 0 (full transparency) up to 1 (totally opaque). For instance

hidden_zone_showing_opacity 0.2 sets the opacity at 20%.
