DLC, does everyone need it?

So I have seen some conflicting messages about this, and just want clarification. If I buy a piece of DLC, will my friends need to buy it as well? Or will only me as the host need it?

It is enough if the host have it, which is reasonable since if you play real tabletops, would every player need a copy of the game in order to play :))

Only host needs it currently. I wish being host wasn't a requirement though. I own most of it, but I'm EU, and my usual group is NA, which makes me a terrible host.
