Purple polygons instead of fire / smoke / rain
Hi guys

I've downloaded the fire / smoke / rain /... add-on from the workshop. Unfortunately there seems to be a problem. Instead of fire (or rain, snow, etc.), the object only shows purple polygons.

Everything else works. Placement, animation and so on (I can even toggle between different types of animation). it's just that instead of there being a texture, it's just completely purple.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

redownload the assets from internet see if it fixes it (everything loads from document when downloaded)

Menu>config>uncheck mark Mod cache
restart tts
reload the workshop mod
recheck Mod cache

assume its dig65 mod loaded from my side texture is good no purples on my end

then its bad luck I'm afraid. :(

Basically as I understand it if you make an assetbundle on Windows it compiles the shader code into the assetbundle for directX so it won't work with Linux or Mac

Tried that and a bunch of weird things happened. Reloading the Mods didn't really do much, but I changed the Mod Save Location from "Game" to "Document". When I choose "Document" I have all objects that were formerly (partially) passing when I first installed TTS on this Mac. However the various effects (snow, fire, rain,...) are only displayed as animated purple polygons.

However when I change the Mod Save Location to "Game", the various effects are displayed correctly but now half of my objects (custom objects in the chest) are missing.

I mean it's not a huge deal. I can play the D&D campaign without using any of the effects, it just seems weird to me.

^ If the images are missing, you could probably just find them in your computer and move them to the right folder. That should fix it.
