Report a translation problem
(No collision means it won't collide with anything, table included)
collider also defines which part of the object you can "hold" with your pointer/hand. No collision means impossible to hold.
That all being said, you could make your custom colliders to ensure only part of the object has collision.
There's a good tutorial for that, if you can't find it, I will link it for you when I'm back at the computer
