just the host needs workshop items / dlc

just host the game , invite your friends and have fun ;)

i havent seen any cheaters so far

but like in every other online game it depends on the people you play with
dont know in my opinion you kinda overthink this a little bit too much

if you want to play tabletop games with friends / stangers TTS is great fun and a blast
+there are alot of games available in the workshop

I see you're new to the internet.

There are people who want to play and people who are just trolling.
That will be always the case in any online game.

What you can do is host yourself, then you can ban anyone who trolls and you will never see them again.

One thing though: The people who play Secret Hitler has developed in one of the most elitist community I've seen. They get mad at you if you don't play the way you want them to play (believe it or not, they developed a "meta" for a party game), and even if you don't use the mod they want you to. Many people will also simply leave the game right at the start if they don't like the role they got.

I do not recommend playing Secret Hitler with strangers on TTS. But if you wanna play any other games, then it's cool.

I personally hate "meta" and the notetaker (it's not supposed to be part of the game). Whenever people break "meta" I never vote nein.

It's absurd.
I was trying to get a game rolling, and people would leave for all kinds of reasons.
Because they didn't like the mod I was using (wasn't the CE version);
Because there were new players in the game;
Because they didn't get the role they wanted...

I don't know what happened, but when I first bought TTS, it was much easier getting a game of SH rolling. Now I just stopped playing that game altogether.

I think its best to name the server non-meta SH and you'll just get anyone who feels the same.
