Request: Can we have an option to disable the camera spin in hotseat mode?
Pretty much I want the option to disable the camera rotating in hotseat because of a couple reasons:

Firstly, if I'm teaching myself how to play a game, it's nausea-inducing to have the camera constantly spinning around whenever I switch players.

Secondly, it takes a bit too long, especially if it's a bigger table and I gotta wait for the camera to slowly rotate to the other side.

I'd prefer it if there was a way to just have the camera automatically snap to where it needs to be without having to spin around. This can also be applied to saved camera positions. What's the point in saving a camera position to quickly get to a spot on the table if the process of the camera moving there is slower than what I could achieve myself?

If you're only teaching yourself a game by playing a round alone, you could just use the hand zone tool to make the players sit next to each other and put them on the same team to see everyone's hand at all times

If you set a default camera position using Ctrl+0, the camera will go to that position when you switch colours and won't auto-rotate itself. You can also set custom camera locations using Ctrl+1-9 and then use Alt+1-9 to load that saved position.

I'd use this method. Use Ctrl + # to set your camera position. Then use Shift + # to jump to that camera position.

Then go to Menu > Configuration > Interface > Misc. Settings > Camera Load Spin Rate and set it to 1000. It's almost fast enough to be an instant change.

If the devs are listening, loading a camera state should have the option to just be an instant transition for those of us that struggle with vertigo and motion sickness, but this is as close as I could get it with the current available settings.

Hope this helps.

In the console (~ tab next to Global) type:

camera_rotation_rate 9999
