Best place to host images for cards and such?
Hosting on dropbox has broken a fair amount of my games and I'd like to get it fixed fast.

I personally use CubeUpload. It is compression free and if you make an account the file name will appear in the URL.

Thanks.

You can still use Dropbox direct links - just not public folders.

Just use steam cloud, makes everything much easier.

Click on the "browse" icon and find the image on your computer, then select "cloud". It's much better because it's available for everyone in any country and you can do directly from the game.

I've seen many users reporting that their Steam Cloud fills up quickly this way and soon they find themselves running out of space. It might be worth it for things that aren't just images, otherwise IMO it would be more worthwhile to use an external image host such as cubeUpload.

I was recently able to increase Steam Cloud max size to 100 GB from 1 GB. It won't display the new limit correctly in game until next the patch though. We recommend using the Steam Cloud to host your content.

I used to use Imgur, but since they were often not available due to server problems, I moved to postimg.org and have been very happy with this site ever since.

To clarify, each game has it's own amount of storage per user (DOTA has 2GB, Axiom Verge has 10MB, etc). He means he's increased Tabletop Simulator's per user size, not his personal steam cloud size.

Knil, do you know what happens if you use Steam Cloud to host your content, and the game gets pulled from Workshop? At the moment, if someone uses something other than Steam Cloud, as long as they have the .json, and the files are still up, they can still access the artwork. If they're using Steam Cloud, would that be true as well?

Yes it would.

The workshop only holds the .json, the images are held on a different part of the cloud.
