TTS for wargames?
Loving some of the stuff I've found so far (much easier to manage my Eklund games on TTS), but I wsa wondering how to get started with wargaming using TTS.

I've got a copy of Bolt Action at home, but after trawling the boards I can't really see how it'd work.

Main issue is scale: tables/grids are a set arbitrary size (Inches?), I can't see any way to change the table size, only scale up/down the grid, which has its limits.

Found a few model asset packs; is there a way to set a specific scale for models, or will I have to eyeball it for every figure?

finally terrain, are there any asset packs on the workshop people use for WW2? I've had a trawl and found a few complete maps but not much in the way of packs, also can't see how you'd do hills.

Or is TTS not really worth it for wargaming?

Thanks.

hi Evil Dr Foetus. sorry i've only just seen this. TTS is brilliant for wargaming. i use it for writing rules and testing/playing solo games. you can create any scale you want.. 6mm 10mm, 20mm, 28mm or 54mm. personally i use hex or square grids (on my table texture), so that i don't have to fanny around measuring distances with rulers. hills? they are just another object that you can add to a tabletop. to answer your question, TTS is "totally worth it".

Kendo, help me out please.
If using 6mm scale and one mm=1 foot how big of a map can one generate with TTS?
