I'm not sure what you're actually trying to do or what you were told. AFAIK, The default location of the local save directory on OS X is Root/My Games/Tabletop Simulator/Saves (...and its subdirectory /Saved Objects). If you are looking for the tables' saves then look in /Saves, but if you are looking for the saved objects (that you can load to a table) those are saved in the subfolder.

If you are actually searching for directories containing the name "tabletopia", however, that's probably a large part of your problem. Which game are you asking about "Tabletop Simulator" or "Tabletopia"?

I thought i was fairly computer savy so im wondering why this is so difficult....im trying to put some decks into the saved objects file so i can load them into the star wars destiny mod of tabletop simulator.

I searched for Root and My Games and nothing comes up......do i need to have something else enabled to see these things or what am i missing.....thank you so much for any help....im frustrated....

Mac save location was changed to ~/Library/Tabletop Simulator

Thanks, Knil, that's good to know.

ShadowSlayer, Sorry for the misinformation. It looks like you were looking in the right place before my "help" after all. :steamsad:

If you're still having trouble finding the directory, the only other thing I would suggest is to search for any saved objects that you have. If you currently don't have any saved objects:
  1. Open the game and start a single player table
  2. Spawn any component (Top Menu bar: "Objects" -> "Components" -> ... )
  3. Right-Click on whatever component you spawned and choose "Save Object"
  4. Click the "Name" field and type something easily findable (i.e. "Sample Saved TTS Object")
  5. Open finder and search for the .json file that was just created (i.e. "Sample Saved TTS Object")
  6. That files location is where you would want to place your previously saved decks

This is assuming the decks that you have are already files that are ready to be spawned to the table as they are. If the files that you have are of the filetype JSON, then they would be recognized as saved objects (or possibly full game saves) already. If the files that you have are image (JPEG or PNG) filetypes, then those would need to be imported as a custom deck anyway.

SlothArmstrong mentioned in this thread that the library folder was set to hidden by default on his computer. You might want to also check to make sure that you are viewing hidden folders first.
