Help!!!! White Screen upon starting the game

Does anyone else have the same issue where you see the white screen after you lauched it? The Music is still on and there is even sound effects when I blindly cliked the mouse and pressed some buttons. Please help!!!!!!!!!!! ( i reinstalled the game a few times and checked the integrity of the local file, nothing helped)

i got the exact same issue, i can hear the music and the mune options when i move my mouse, but the screen is completely white !
I've tried to uninstall the game twice and did restart my computer a few times, but nothing changed ...
i'm running on windows 8.1 if it matters.
If anybody has any advice please help :)

So tehre's nothing we can do rightnow to fix this bug ?

I've notified the devs of the issue, they are looking into it. It's nothing I've personally seen before so I can't offer much assistance :(

As stated above, the game launches without encoutering any problem, but instead of the menu a white screen shows up, there is the music and i hear that moving my mouse has an impact on the menu but since i cant see anything i am unable to change anything from within the game.

I uninstalled and checked the files unfortunately it had no effect so far...

Let's hope it'll work at some point, cant wait to play it :D

On top of everything others have described, I found out something interesting which may help the developers find out the cause of the issue.

1. I pressed the screenshot key on my computer while I'm at the white screen. After I exit the game to check out the scrrenshot that i just took, it turned out that I ACTUALLY MADE A SCREENSHOT OF THE MENU IN THE SCREEN. In other words, the screenshot did not capture the WHITE SCREEN as I expected but it captured the in-game image.

2. I downloaded the game and lauched it on my MAC, and it worked fine. It seems that the issue is only with the Windows system. (My OS is Windows 10)

To be honest, i have never experienced the same issue in any other game. I wish you guys can eventually fix the prob and tell us what's going on. Very much appreciated!

[SOLVED] White screen problem after resolution change
I had a problem after changed the resolution. I tried to reinstal the game and restart pc and nothing. I found the solution on Discord game group very fast and easy. Just go to:

C:\Users[you]\AppData\Roaming\ToothAndTail\Options.xml

and delete the 'Options.xml' then you can run the game with no problem.

If you're on a windows laptop, we've found that sometimes you need to change your drivers so that Tooth and Tail can run on main GPU. Especially with Nvidia Optimus laptops.

Some users have told me that the game will only work with their GPU, and for others it works on the integrated.

Another thing you can try is editing your Options.xml file to change the graphics settings. You'll need to edit it in notepad or another text editor of your choice.

or (on Mac and Linux)
~/.config/ToothAndTail

Open the Options.xml and try setting GraphicsQuality to LOW, or running the game in a lower resolution or in WINDOWED mode (if all else fails).

I tried but it did not work for me. I didn't change anything in the game before. The white screen showed up at the first time I lauched the game

So i went into the options.xml and changed the fullscreen to windowed and it works ! So thanks for the quick feedback and i hope others will find the right solution for their problem

i know when was problem.. i spend all day for it.. I have two graphis cards - AMD Radeon R9 M375 and integrated Intel HD 5500. When i have turn ON two cards sreen on strat is white. When I turn off Radeon (higher card) game works but its still prolem. On integrated cards i have low fps..

Finally... Yea, when i change in options.xml on WINDOWED game stared.. I must only wait a few seconds and click on window and everything work :)

The solutions presented here aren't working for me. I used my Nvidia settings to tell the game to use that card rather than the integrated card. I tried changing the Options.xml file to LOW for graphics quality. I tried running it in Windowed mode. I still get the white screen. Plus the game keeps overriding the changes I'm making to the xml file.
