How's the multiplayer
Hi,
This game seems interesting, but i would mostly play in multiplayer.
How is it? Easy to find games? Is there a ranked system? Ladder?
Any kind of MMR to match similar skill opponents?
I played WC3 & SC2 thousands of hours, how is it compared to these games?

There is a ranked mode with ladder where it is pretty easy to find opponent, and an unranked mode where there is often no one (in this mode you can play 2V2)

Most of your opponent will do a zerg rush, that mean no expansion and attack you with the fastest t1 unit : the lizzard.

But some changes are coming this week, so the meta will change too.

For online population, it's quite low as you can expect from an indy title.
The real question is will it stay stable (or even grow) over time, or will it be dead in a month.

I can't answer that question, but I hope this crossplatform with PS4 is high on their priority.

Just a note for unranked, if you change the region from default to worldwide, you can see more games. There will also be crossplay with GoG. In ranked, when you win a game you get one point added to your rank. When you lose a game you lose one point, and you start with rank 0 or 1 - I forgot. The game tries to pair you with similarly ranked players.

Ranked wasn't hard to find opponents so far. Macro in this game can be fun, at least to me. Choosing expansions is a strategic decision. The maps are randomized, so you have to adapt to the situation often. The same strats from SC can apply here in the sense of expand more and reduce enemy expansions. Put pressure early, so you can expand. Build an army to protect yourself while you expand.

The difference is there's less army management ability. Mostly it's 1A style because of the simplified control scheme. You can either move your entire army at once, or move all of one kind of unit. You can target fire, which is pretty important.

There is a lot less management required, so it's easier to play than SC. I've played a few hundred hours of SC2, and I find this game fun. I might also be a little biased because I've played a few thousand hours of Monaco. I can't comment about WC3 as I haven't played it.

I play multiplayer exclusively, don't really care far singleplayer campaigns. So far I've gotten 25 hours out of it, and I'm still having fun.
