The game is on DLSite and they have new policies which require censoring the H games.

They also had to censore the names of a bunch of tags.
Almost all 'rape' tags got replaced with different 'creative' names describing same thing.
They even managed to censore 'Brutal/Fiendish' into 'very mean'.

If you want to blame someone - blame the american banks. Talking about freedom while limiting all freedom is the modern society in a nutshell.
Banks not wanting to do business with uncensored porn industry is pretty common even outside JP nowadays.

That being said - dev did all he could to adapt. Censorship is kept as minimalistic as possible within requirements.
And most poses are done in a way that you won't see any censorship at all.

That's not how economy works.

It's VERY hard for banks to press on steam since it's simply too huge of a revenue gain.

Steam still has heavy censorship however.
All loli/rape/heavy fetishes stuff either comes with a patch OUTSIDE of steam or gets permanently banned by steam for example.(or is censored obviously)
Most of the time they don't even give second chances unless something becomes unjustified and massively spread by community.

This essentially forces you to buy a game without an actual game -a product that doesn't even work properly most of the time unless you download said patch.

So don't make some saint out of steam. It still does bend over, just not to the same extent as others.

Some smaller websites can also avoid such attention from banks but that is only until the website grows relatively popular and people started reporting stuff.

In fact that's a good idea, I would say.

The less money you bring to platforms which use official banks for paying system in general - the better.
Sadly such contribution won't impact reality as people will keep using such harmful platforms simply for their convenience and QoL.

Sucks for H game developers, but such is life if they want wider sales coverage. Which is often their only choice as you either go that route or get published somewhere where you will hardly get any sales.

Some bigger companies like kagura can support their own website for unofficial patches, but that's not the case for small time companies/small team devs self publishing.

Lol Still has nothing to do with why it's censored. The reason it's censored 99% sure. Because it's a Japanese developer. In Japan there is a censorship law were gentiles have to be censored. Same reason 99% of Japanese porn is censored

It needs a Western publisher. It happened for Libra Heart games that were on DLsite. They were decensored.
