Can't Play Online?

Hey, I need some help. No matter what I do, I can't get a report back on my love life or get any clients with the blue globe symbol. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Solace, that seems odd. Did you tick the box in the ID card menu to say 'online enabled' when you created your avatar? You can check it by clicking the ID card on the main menu.

If that's on and you definitely have an internet connection AND you're logged into Steam then you should be seeing some avatars. The Black Book will need to refresh for them to start appearing if you fix something. The Black Book will refresh a little after each date. Especially if you pair people off.

The speed at which you'll receive your avatar letters depends on a couple of factors. If you pick a type that unlocks later in the game (like chic) you will receive avatar letters less often as less people are sending your avatar on dates to generate the data. Also the types that are most popular will get slightly less too as the pool is bigger, for the same reason.

Remember the avatar data is generated by real players sending your avatar on dates, so it's in the hands of the players who gets the most letters!

Was this ever resolved? I'm having this issue, as well. Am I just too late to the game? lol I get "failed to upload player avatar information! Please try again!"

The "failed to upload player avatar information" bug should be fixed now, in the latest version of the game (version 1.17.2a). Please update when you get the chance to, and try again.
