Are there two story lines ?

I played this game years after and played diffirently (Returned father immidiately without taking side quest) which lead me to whole new story ?

I play this game some time to time since 2006 after characters father sends us for a delivery i take side job (1. Guiding alice to other villages 2.Giving a ride to an old farmer) , do them , then turn back find hometown in flames, get filled with rage, go for a bandit named Felix, beat him then look for alice the ask who is responsible for this massacre .... which lead to a something like a clan(?) war.

This time I just did main mission and turned back but this time i found his father next to burning house barely alive. He said we were adopted our father was a great man and in order to find him our stepdad gives us a 1. CD from times before nukes went off 2. A latter from Bio dad and says we need to find Ben Throttle (his friend). This time we go diffirent cities.

Does these 2 story lines (3 maybe ?) get back to same line i dont know.

It just feels wierd finding this after 8 years and i couldn't find any info on any English websites. Urgh I feel somehow bad

Amazing i was thinking in make exactly this same thread the last 2 or 3 days, but i thinked than nobody has this game and than the forum is dead. And then you make it for me.

If you take the job from Alice it's a story of absurd revenges, but if you refuses the job and come back directly home is the story of the search of a man and a letter. I believe than they are completely diferent storys.

Do you know if there are another inflexion points than changes the whole story?

Im playing the line with Alice now and i must choose one of two enemy groups ( Axel is commander one of them. Both sides have logical reasons to hate other group) to help in order to get to Axel and beat him. There are two ways as i imagine : 1.Joining Axel group and betray him or 2. Join opposite group and fight against him and his group. I just joined 2nd group so i dont know how it will go but this might be your inflexion point.

There is one thing bugs my mind : What if I refuse Alice's job and do all other side quest (Which may lead to a 3rd line ) and if that happens this game doubles my respect second time :D

Hi! You could change again your faction if you choose to follow Axel. Later, there is a mission where you could back with CIT. In this way, you complete more mission from both sides (like for Church of Enlightenment).
So, in this order, from shorter to longer to continue the story: Only play with Axel, Only play with CIT, Play with Axel and then revert to CIT. All of them really finish in the same point, but in different ways.
Later you will meet "Druids" and "Children of Iron" factions and you will have the same dilemma. In this case, choosing COI would be the bad side, being shorter, and leaving out some interesting options from druids.
I didn't know that you had another story line from the beginning, coming back fast after completing the first mission, so a lot of thanks for the info!!. I will have to try it.

lol i play dis game whitaunt noing tgat theres a diffrent story line
