Are there any actual mods for the game, or Workshop support planned?
I saw on the website that mods were to be found on the Steam forums, but I don't see any here. Is this just placeholder info, or is there the beginnings of a mod community here?

This is a fan website looks like... I don't think Chowbie speaks Spanish, bro barely grasps English.

Yah, it says it's a fan website. I should have been clearer. I just saw that and wondered if that really was happening, or if it was just wishcasting.
my protection scripts threw up so many red flags when that ♥♥♥♥ tried to load. i suggest you give yourself a nice deep virus/spyware scan, because you absolutely have some keyloggers from loading that page.

The method of installing mods is also bs. This is a Unity based game so a simple "mods" folder wouldn't do ♥♥♥♥ lol.

yeah...thats unreal 5 that just lets you drag and drop mods for any game period. unity requires you to literally recompile the entire EXE. thats why there are no mods for any unity game. its not something you can do as some ametuer script kiddie, you have to actually know C++ and put the time in to basically remake the entire game, since any changes you make will absolutely end up screwing something up.

Just to check, I put it up against Cloudflare and Securi's website checkers and the both said it's clean. Maybe Chad ran into a malware ad instead?

Not entirely true. Stuff like Megaman X Dive has mods. It just takes at least one dedicated modder.
is their anything that you can do with ruby gems after you have all the affinities maxed out?

You can buy upgrades at the nun in the lower left of the hub area. Stuff like boosts to certain vampire skills, gaining more blood crystals or more fresh blood (vampire EXP), or just an all around damage boost and other nifty things..
