Opinions on the girls
So I've got around to playing all the girls and completed a few runs with each and I've formed some opinions on each. Just wanted to share them and see if others feel similar.

Preiya: Lets start with a hot take. Preiya is actually the easiest overall, which might sound weird if you've had a similar experience as I had at the start, which is play P, get wrecked and then see what the others could do, only to realise Marie trivialises the game. That said, once you get some upgrades to damage and have the gameplay loop down, hacking, slashing and shotgunning is probably the fastest and safest way to rip and tear though the game, not to mention, by far the most fun for me. Best AOE damage against enemies and good against bosses too.
Her main weapon is fun as hell, the sub weapon really good too, but I feel like the skill is genuinely a liability rather than a damage source with how hard it is to aim. Overall, I went for holy damage for extra AOE.
She works well with a lot of artefacts and blood powers seemed decent when I bothered to use them.
Overall, best girl, queen of rip and tear, balanced difficulty (by this games standards), I'd give her a 9/10.

Marie: before Marie, vampires are mere cannonfodder. Completely OP if survival is your game. That said, she lacks in damage, which takes away from the overall fun of the game.
Her main weapon (which feels like the sub weapon) is decent but can be a pain to get just right. The sub weapon breaks any sense of game balance with unlimited range and high fire rate. The skill is by far the best in the game, and is exactly what a skill should be. The other girls skill are barely useful, if not dangerous to use, but Marie's skill is perfect.
She has no issues with artefacts or blood powers..
Overall, a great starter character, middle of the pack for fun, 7/10.

Sain: I won't lie, you have to be insane to enjoy this trash heap of a character, or just a masochist. I'm not gonna say shes too hard, if you can win as Preija you can win as Sain, but by god it will not be fun at any point along the way.
Her main weapon is what I consider to be her only useful weapon. Just STAB STAB STAB STAB STAB GET MURDERED GET MURDERED your way though the game and hope for the best. The skill and subweapon aren't terrible but they do not come close to the other girls standards. So better hope you like to stab.
As for artefacts, I'm convinced shes cursed to never get good ones, although from what I've heard your best bet is to crit max her big stabber and hope for the best.
Overall, she's not fun at all to play, you could argue shes "perfectly balanced" if you think the game is too easy, but as for me, I consider Sain the runt of the litter. 4/10

TLDR:
Preija is super fun without being totally busted from the start, the optimal girl to play.
Marie is OP as hell from the start and is decently fun to play, good for beginners.
Sain is for the insane. Balanced but not fun at all.

Actually the reverse between Preiya and Sain for me tbh. Sain overall has a fun kit (wish.com Vergil skill is crap though, the fire version is much better imo) and is op af focusing on either action, so you can make the most out of any artifact loadout. Preiya however is boring af. Her sub and skill are both ass in any variation. Building for anything other than her axe swings just feels like gimping yourself. Marie doesn't have inf range but otherwise she's a slow starter, unlike Sain. Just don't get the spreadshot powerup and the penetrate one makes you a mobbing machine surpassing Sain.
How long did it take you to play all t he girls? How many hours of gameplay is this game packing?

Full run without rushing is like... 40 minutes?
So far I have been playing Maria but I haven't beaten a full run yet but I found her quite fun and very strong.
I've gotten all the Steam achievements and got S rank on Marie. I did all the level 1 quests and actually got the S rank before I could finish the die 5 times quest and die to a blood donation achievement. I played a few runs on the other two enough to get their alternate weapons, with Sain beating a duke once.

Preiya is the first one I tried and made me want to quit the game, lol. Coming from playing V Rising, the controls were awkward. Movement with melee jumps around a lot which makes keeping space/distance difficult and you'd often jump into an enemy attack, or just miss a lot. The skill attacks in the direction where you're moving, which is contrary to how most other weapons/skills in this game operates which shoot towards where your mouse cursor is pointing. If you're using keyboard, your skill can then only move in 8 directions, maybe less because of the hardware limitation with some keyboards where you can't press some combination of at least 3 keys.

Marie is the strongest IMO. Her high fire rate triggers her sub-weapon artifacts a lot, so she has the highest DPS and clearing potential. That said, only the physical type sub-weapon is good because it's fast, it crits, and it chains. The main weapon is a piledriver-style stake launcher and is actually very powerful and very cool. I don't think I have to sell how strong her skill is - it's a grenade with a huge AoE.

Sain had the same issues as Preiya until you get the fire swords. You get to go Gate of Babylon/UBW on things. The thing with her skill is that it has no activation animation/delay, so you can run near enemies, activate it, and do damage, and do it all over again after the cooldown.

I must be insane because sain is the one I find most enjoyable.

Preiya is probably the weakest of the 3, Marie is cheat mode.
Sain is decent Challenge...when not using fire weapons.
Her problem is that she have close to zero crowd control abilities and focus more on directional attacks, but in boss fights she's not bad.

Marie is crazy strong if you run her with fire and physical sub

Preiya is without a doubt the strongest and it's not even close. run her pure phys, holy skill if you want movement, or not, doesn't matter. stack crit, take 1 source of bleed, take the ult that gives 3sec invuln. every boss will die before your ult ends, even on a human run

i wasn't sure if i accidentally had easy mode on or something, until i played the other girls. nope. preiya is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ OP. she literally oneshots every enemy on the screen from beginning to end

I like Marie the most personally, playing a top-down arcade-y game like this it just feels good to be ranged.

Haven't really touched the other two much, I picked Marie as my first pick just cuz of her design which I liked the most.

I'll give the other ones ago once I finish with her. Currently I've killed the queen and am at rank A, got vampire ending.

Would like to get to rank S and human ending too before moving on to do the same with the others. (get S rank and 2 endings each)

Overall I quite like this game. Was a nice change of pace from the other stuff I play lately.
Preiya feels for me pretty standard, balanced;

Marie is easy because there are few challenges for her - many enemies are melee and too slow. However she is balanced by her gun's heat mechanic. Plus latex nun outfit makes her pretty for me;

Sein is quite specific. I felt that she is weak - was died at first boss in the start run (I have accoplished the tutorial run as Preiya and Marie). I even started to keep rubies to empower Sein through Kaleena's upgrades.

Sain is the only character I took all the way from the tutorial stage to the 4th boss for a full clear. She's actually quite deadly with the right artifact combination. My favorite by far and the first nun I got to S rank. She can stick and move very quickly, and her kit is more about burning her main, sub and skill for wombo combos.

Maria is EZ mode for sure simply due to her ability to range everything. She's interesting in that her sub weapon acts more like a main weapon, but no one should knock her main weapon because her pile driver is quite deadly. Maria's main weapon are like Sain's sub-weapon and skill, positioning and timing are key, but once you get it down you can devastate bosses.

Priya can be fun to play, and I like how her weapon elements can change up the way she feels (this is true of all of them to a degree,) but I never got near as much enjoyment out of her as I did Sain, Plus, I personally found Priya's weapon synergy to be a double edged sword, just like she has certain elemental combinations that make her more fun, she has combinations that can really slow her down and make her feel like more of a drag to play.
